The Cottonwood Creek Drainage Improvement consists of enlarging the drainage channel at an area known for flooding in South Grand Prairie. McMahon will complete the project in two phases to limit the impact to the public.

Phase I

Bridge Paving

Phase 1 includes removing existing box culverts, excavating approximately 26,000 C.Y. of dirt from the channel, installing storm drainage, channel liner, and a 3 span bridge on Marshall Rd.

 

Phase II

Phase II includes removing existing box culverts, channel excavation, installing storm drainage, channel liner and a 3 span bridge for Robinson Rd.

This project started in May of 2020 and is scheduled to be complete in April of 2021.
